A minute of arc or arcminute (arcmin) is a unit of angular measurement equal to 1/60 of one degree. Since one degree is 1/360 of a turn (or complete rotation), one minute of arc is 1/21600 of a turn (or, in radians, π/10800).
Angular mils is a unit of angular measurement equal to 1/6400 of a complete circle, or about 0.00015625 circle. At 1000 meters one mil subtends about one meter (~0,98 m). The angular mil is used for artillary calculations.
In relation to the base unit of [angle] => (radians), 1 Minute Of Arc (MOA) is equal to 0.000290888 radians, while 1 Angular Mils (µ mil) = 0.000981748 radians.110900 Minute Of Arc | to common angle units |
